May 14, 2020, Covid-19 Update

Dear Valued Customers, 

As we all deal through the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarma continues to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and to continue to be there for our customers. 

As our state and local government officials discuss plans to carefully re-open for business. Sarma is also cautiously planning a safe, incremental return to our offices for our employees currently working from home. Our San Antonio and Miami offices continue to be staffed and have been fully operational over the past 7 weeks. With our work from home protocol working effectively, it is not our goal to be the first company to return all our employees to our offices. Our COVID-19 management team has devised a plan to ensure a safe return to our offices for our employees that enables us to continue providing you with the high level of service you have come to expect from Sarma. There is no official time frame for our employees to return to office, we think it is wise to take 2 weeks after state and local restrictions are lifted to observe and plan accordingly. After the 2-week window, our management team will spend a couple of days testing social distance protocols before our team returns to our offices. Safety and security of our employees comes first. At the time when we initially return to the office, and reach more than 80% capacity visitors will to be allowed in our offices wearing masks. We will ensure social distancing in all areas and continue our rigorous clean-up, hygiene and safety protocols. I hope this plan gives you confidence in our coordination and peace of mind in our ability to continue to serve you. 

During this difficult time, the Sarma team has been uniquely positioned to continue to provide support through our commitment to our customers, superior products and services. As I have said in previous communications, we have remained nimble and focused throughout the pandemic. 

Sarma home office remains open and is here for you. Our staff is ready to continue to serve you being mindful of CDC, Federal, State and Local COVID-19 health guidelines. Our hours of operations continue to run from 8:00am CST to 5:00pm CST. All our department heads and account executives are available to assist you with anything you need.
