Ronald McDonald House Programs:
- Families facing the challenge of seeking medical treatment far from home find solace at a Ronald McDonald House. Here, they can stay together, savor home-cooked meals, and receive compassionate care and assistance from dedicated staff and volunteers, all in close proximity to the child’s hospital.
- The Ronald McDonald House programs play a vital role in alleviating stress and financial strain for families who must travel long distances for their child’s medical needs.
- Research indicates that patients whose families stayed at the Ronald McDonald House were among the most severely ill, traveled extensive distance, and had prolonged hospital stays.
About Sarma and its Charitable Foundation (SCF):
Founded in 1907, Sarma is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, offers multiple services including mortgage credit services, third-party collections and background screening.
The Sarma Charitable Foundation was formed in 2020 and has a focus on teaching financial literacy to youth in the community, among other goals like minimizing hunger and assisting in healthy lifestyles. Through generous contributions and strategic partnerships, SARMA is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families across the region.
To date SCF has awarded over $1.3 million dollars to Non-Profits, HS Schools, Universities, Hospitals and Communities throughout Texas and Florida.
