Good Samaritan Community Services
The Sarma Charitable Foundation embraced the spirit of giving this season by donating over 10 Holiday Bags to families of Good Samaritan Community Services. The Good Samaritan Community Services organization does incredible work for families in San Antonio and South Texas. They offer childcare services, family enhancement programs, youth & teen services, food pantry, and senior services—serving all generations with care and compassion. Each bag was thoughtfully filled with everything needed for a complete holiday meal, ensuring that families could celebrate the season with joy and togetherness. This act of kindness reflects Sarma’s dedication to supporting communities and spreading holiday cheer.
Children’s Shelter
The Children’s Shelter dedicated to Family Services delivers high quality, compassionate trauma-informed care delivered to children and families impacted by or at-risk of abuse and neglect. The Sarma Charitable Foundation is dedicated to enriching lives and supporting communities through acts of generosity and compassion. This holiday season, SARMA employees demonstrated their heartfelt commitment by generously donating gifts for children aged 0-17 years old to The Children’s Shelter. Their contributions brought joy and hope to children in need, reflecting the foundation’s mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. We are happy to bring joy to the children and their families.
Blessed Angels Community Center Turkey Giveaway
This holiday season, the Sarma Charitable Foundation joined hands with Blessed Angels Community Center of San Antonio to bring joy to families in need. Together, they volunteered to distribute turkeys, spreading warmth and cheer. Their selfless actions did not go unnoticed, as they were honored with the esteemed “Heroes of the Holidays” award. This recognition celebrates their generous donation and steadfast dedication to uplifting the community during this special time.
Ronald McDonald House
The Sarma Charitable Foundation remains dedicated to aiding families in significant ways. Recently, during Thanksgiving, the foundation provided a comforting and nourishing meal to families residing at Ronald McDonald House Charities at the CHRISTUS Children’s Center, bringing solace during difficult times. Moreover, SARMA is actively supporting the advancement of healthcare by contributing to the development of a new wing at CHRISTUS Children’s Center, a project currently in progress. This contribution is poised to guarantee improved medical services and facilities for families in the foreseeable future.
