The Sarma Charitable Foundation (SCF) Scholarship Banquet was a huge success

Special thanks to Michael Guerra, San Antonio Food Bank Philanthropy Officer for taking time out of their busy schedules to speak, and individually meet each of our scholarship recipients. Your generosity was awesome, an event they will never forget.

Last night 10 local students were awarded a total of $50,000. The 10 recipients were selected from hundreds of applications. Each student was picked for their merit, extra-curricular activities and commitment to pursue a degree in the areas of finance, business, economics and management. We applaud their dedication and hard work.

Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, Sarma has been providing multiple services since 1907, including mortgage lenders credit services, third-party collections, employment, and tenant screening.

To date SCF has awarded over $1.7million dollars to Non-Profits, HS Schools, Universities and Communities throughout Texas and Florida.

SCF has now eclipsed the $150,000 mark in giving’s to high school student scholarships.
