Our Sarma Charitable Foundation (SCF) is excited to release the date, time and place of what it considers its flagship event, and now annual tradition. Ten local students will be awarded a total of $50,000 in scholarships for participating in the Sarma Charitable Foundation Scholarship program.

The 10 recipients were selected from 161 applications. Every application was reviewed but these exceptional and unique individuals were picked by their merit, extra-curricular activities and commitment to pursue a degree in the areas of finance, business, economics and management. We applaud their dedication and hard work.

Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, Sarma has been providing multiple services since 1907, including mortgage lenders credit services, third-party collections, employment, and tenant screening.

In 2020, the Sarma Charitable Foundation was established with a goal of teaching financial literacy to our community, along with minimizing hunger and promoting healthy lifestyles.

To date SCF has awarded over $1.2 million dollars to Non-Profits, HS Schools, Universities and Communities throughout Texas and Florida.

SCF has now eclipsed the $100,000 mark in scholarship giving’s to high schools students.

Sarma continues to be a leader in its industry, providing top-notch services and giving back to the community.
