Sarma Charitable Foundation (SCF) hosted its 4th Annual Flagship Event On May 14, 2026

This incredible evening marked a major milestone: officially surpassing $200,000 in total scholarship funding awarded to local students since our inception! This year, 10 outstanding local students—selected from hundreds of applicants—were awarded a total of $50,000 to pursue degrees in finance, business, economics, and management. We applaud their hard work and dedication!

A huge thank you to our incredible guest speakers who made the night unforgettable:

Dr. Daniel P. Martinez, Executive Director of the Red Cross San Antonio, for an inspiring keynote speech and for taking the time to connect individually with each recipient. John “Coach Val” Valenzuela, Pastor and Motivational Speaker, who brought incredible energy as our Master of Ceremonies. Finally, a massive shoutout to our dedicated SCF Committee Members: Nicholas Benavides, Anais Campos, and Magali Smith. A special thank you to Anais and Magali for steering this event to absolute perfection!

Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, Sarma has been serving our community since 1907. To date, SCF has proudly awarded over $2.8 million to non-profits, schools, universities, and communities across Texas and Florida.

Because true significance comes from investing in people. ✨
